Bingol Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been providing services to about its 2000 members. Bingol Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded to the requirement of their area and city on 01/01/1989. Bingol CCI has been providing services to about its 2000 members. Approximately 725 of its members are in the construction sector, 220 in the food sector, and 190 in the automotive sector. Bingol CCI continues its activities to improve city’s economy. The trade sector is one of the leading sectors in Bingol. Wholesaling and retailing have an important place in the provincial economy in terms of turnover size, gross investment amount and number of firms. Bingol exports in 2017 was about 1.7 million 88 thousand dollars, while imports were 16.5 million dollars.

Bingol's economy is based on animal husbandry, agriculture and forestry. Employees in these sectors include the majority of the population. Employees in the manufacturing and construction industries constitute 3% of the active population. There is no important industrial facility in the city.
Animal husbandry, which occupies an important place in the city economy, is the most important source of income. The vast majority of the villagers earns their livehood from this sector. Beekeeping and poultry breeding are also carried out. A substantial income is generated from the sale of live animals and dairy products.
