SIAULIAI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRY AND CRAFTS (SIAULIAI CCIC)
Siauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (Siauliai CCIC) is a non-profit seeking organization open for all sectors of industry, trade and crafts in Siauliai Region. Siauliai CCIC is financed by voluntary membership and services fees. Siauliai CCIC is a member of the Baltic Chambers of Commerce Association and one of the founders of the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Siauliai TV and Siauliai Region Development Agency. Siauliai CCIC seeks to further development of commerce and industry in the region; promotes foreign trade and international business relations, international projects; accumulates up-to-date information about trade markets, industry in the region and foreign countries; creates favourable conditions for representing Lithuania in Europe and in the world. Siauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts together with the other chambers and the ALCCIC organize contests for “Lithuanian Export Prize” and “Lithuanian Businesswoman” nomination.
The Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry was registered at the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Lithuania in September 1992. In November 1995 the Parliament passed the law on Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts. Referring to this law the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry were reorganised to 5 Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.
