SME HOSPITAL AND EUROPEAN NETWORK PROJECT PRESS MEETING

Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s SME Hospital and European Network Project which is accepted by Turkey-EU Business Dialogue within the framework of accepted projects call for proposals and the European Network of SME Hospital, was announced during a conference held in Akrones Hotel press.
A press conference was held to promote the new European Union project of Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry named SME Hospital and European Network. Assembly President of Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mehmet Sıtkı Merdivenci, Chairman of Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hüsnü Serteser, Vice Presidents of Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mustafa Gül and Ahmet Şükrü Köse, Board Members of Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ahmet Anlıak, Akif İşbilir and Hayrettin Güzbey, Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary General Ali Şenol and the owners of the newspapers, representatives of national press organizations, Newspapers, TVs and Internet sites employees attended.
Serteser, who also gave information about the SME Hospital and the European Network Project and said that "more than 99 percent of enterprises in Europe and constitute SMEs in Turkey. SMEs also undertake more than 90 percent of employment and approximately 60 percent of exports. These figures clearly demonstrate the role of Turkey in the European economy and SMEs; On the other hand, SMEs, which are of great importance in the economy, have of course some problems. Financial problems, including lack of equity and difficulties in obtaining credit, are the primary ones of these problems. Within the framework of the SME Hospital project, preliminary consultancy will be made to SMEs and defects that can be defined as "illness" will be determined; trainings will be organized accordingly. In the project, which has a budget of 183 thousand 394 Euros, Sibiu Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture from Romania, Siauliai Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Lithuania were foreign partners. The local partners of the project were Afyonkarahisar Commodity Exchange and Bingöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry.”
